Tiny but important correction. We shall ensure the cheese gets its share of responsibility. 😂 We had a really lovely stay at Chesford Grange and would happily return. The hotel was very clean throughout and our room was immaculate. The bedding, pillows and blankets were genuinely some of the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel, and we slept incredibly well. The biggest positive, though, was the staff. The service was impeccable and the majority of the team were warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we felt very well looked after throughout our stay. I did find that we were asked several times to leave a review and specifically mention staff members by name, which made me wonder whether there is some sort of incentive attached to reviews. It did feel a little pushed at times and, personally, I think the excellent service speaks for itself without needing guests to be prompted. Breakfast itself was lovely, with a really good selection of fresh and hot food. The only slight contrast was that some of the breakfast staff seemed a little miserable compared with the otherwise exceptionally friendly service we experienced elsewhere in the hotel. Unfortunately, our one real disappointment was the late-night food. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich which looked absolutely lovely when it arrived, but the ham had an extremely strong, pungent smell and was clearly not fresh. I have a fairly iron stomach, but even I wasn’t prepared to risk that one! It was a shame, particularly because everything else had been so good. A couple of smaller observations: the room lighting took a little figuring out, although this ended up giving my partner and me something to laugh about. The water also gets VERY hot. Brilliant if you like a properly hot shower, but definitely something to be mindful of. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives. The hotel was immaculate, the room was exceptionally comfortable and the service from the majority of the staff was genuinely fabulous. I would happily return to Chesford Grange in a heartbeat. I’d probably choose to eat out for dinner next time, but I’d absolutely stay here again and would definitely have breakfast at the hotel.

I attended a company conference here and was superbly looked after by the team. The hospitality, quality of food and service was exemplary. One member of the service team, Manoj, could not have been more helpful, making sure I was well looked after throughout the company event.

Brilliant weekend in this wonderful hotel which was very dog friendly. Room had a wooden floor which was nice and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The meals I ordered in the hotel were delicious. Great walks directly from the hotel. I would definitely like to stay again.

Large hotel with good facilities. Friendly & helpful staff & excellent food. Good location for Stratford On Avon & surrounding places of interest. Good size room, although very dark. Could have done with some ceiling lighting in the main bedroom area, as only had dull lamps

Stayed overnight en-route to a car event at the British Motor Museum. Friendly welcome, great room and a lovely atmosphere. Everywhere was clean and well presented and the room itself was nice and quiet. Food in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. All for a reasonable price, too. Recommended and, if I'm visiting the BMM again, I'd certainly stay again. Thanks everyone.

Hello Nice hotel . clean . good location. Only minus for me - i paid for breakfast but needed to leave earlier due to commitments on Saturday morning. It has been agreed that we will get packed breakfast - around 11 am it was a time as was very busy to get the breakfast pack - wow - a muffin, apple, and pear and an old 2 small peace's of pastry - not even a sandwich. Sorry this is very disappointing.

We had a lovely stay at the Chesford Grange at a friend birthday party. We stayed only 1 night in a lovely room. The staff were really helpfuland could not do enough for us, One in particulat Kumar went out of his way to make our experience memofable. Highlg fecommended

Company celebration evening, with saddle night stays either side of the event. Well maintained and operated conference venue. Excellent quality services and staffing levels all round in all departments, for both the individual stay and the corporate event. The only issue I had was with the poor communication between the Q's central reservations booking team and the hotel reception team. It required 3 calls by me to both teams to confirm that my individually booked nights (Friday and Sunday) either side of a company booked Saturday night stay would all be in the same room type and the same room! Had I not rechecked again 2 days prior to the stay, I would have been allocated 3 different rooms for the 3 nights on arrival.

I have stayed once a year over several years and always found all staff consistently friendly and helpful. Booking in easy and very efficient. My rooms are well prepared, presented and very clean. The conference meal catered well for my preferences with courses served & cleared away efficiently with little disruption to Guests. Chanul dealing with our table quickly understood our requirements to resolve wth a smile. Good company, in consistent good surroundings and being dealt with efficiently made for a good stay.
